“PIONEERS” Simulation (Grades 3-7) - June 17-20 - 11:30AM-4 PM
I am so excited to host a summer learning simulation similar to the wildly popular simulations I utilized teaching middle-grade students. These same students STILL rave about the fun they had learning this way.
With the “PIONEERS - Westward Expansion-” simulation, students are about to become a member of a simulated wagon train heading for Oregon. They will begin to understand many aspects of frontier life. For example, why did people leave their relatively comfortable homes, pack all their worldly possessions into small wagons, and face the uncertainties of life on the trail? What did these adventurous people take with them? What problems did they face when they were far from civilization? When they had problems, how did they solve them? Kids’ experiences in PIONEERS will answer these questions and many more.
Located in central Carmel, near 116th and Gray Road. Details will be sent your way after you check out! Hope to see you soon!
